The Senior Cost Controller is a key member of the Project Controls function reporting to the Lead Cost Controller and Project Controls Manager. The role provides expert cost management across the full lifecycle of an offshore project ensuringaccurateforecasting robust cost governance and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
This position acts as the primary interface between engineering procurement construction finance and commercial teams to ensure that project expenditure is effectivelymonitored risks areidentifiedearly and financial performance is aligned with approved budgets and regulatory allowances.
The Senior Cost Controller supports strategic decisionmaking by delivering highquality cost analysis variance reporting and scenario modelling enabling the project leadership team tomaintaincost discipline in a complex highvalue and schedulecritical environment.
Whatyoullbe doing
Providing support in the creationand maintenance ofthe project budget and SAP availability.
Supporting & maintaining the invoicing & payment procedure including blocking/unblocking invoices.
Coordinating and verifying the completion of the month-end Value of Work Done.
Providing ad-hoc cost control support to the Project.
Monitoring open POs and closing POs when needed. Annual roll over of POs.
Managing extraordinary payment requests.
Whatyoullbring
Essential
Knowledgeof IT applications (SAPMicrosoftOffice Document Management Systems).
Knowledge ofCostControl for large EPC projects.
Graduate inEngineeringBusiness Management degreeorequivalent qualifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence at various levels of an organisation.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Desirable
Experience inOffshore wind projects.
Experienceof working with multi-disciplinary teams.
