Semi-skilled Mechanical Workshop Engineer

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Semi Skilled Mechanical Workshop Engineer based in our Service & Repair team in our Lomondgate depot. As a Semi- Skilled Mechanical Workshop Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out hands-on servicing maintenance repairs and fault finding while also getting involved in basic installation and commissioning.

What youll do as a Semi- Skilled Mechanical Workshop Engineer:

• Carry out fault finding repairs and load testing on diesel generators (202000kVA) including major engine overhauls

• Assess equipment condition on return from hire completing upgrades modifications and improvements to maintain fleet quality

• Work across AC/DC electrical systems supporting diagnostics ECM programming and control module configuration

You are:

• Educated to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject

• Experience servicing repairing large engines (generators HGV plant equipment agricultural machinery)

• Good organisational & communication skills

• Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications

• Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
