Are you passionate about building strong relationships and driving revenue growth LGC Standards is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to join our dynamic this hybrid role you will be the first point of contact for our clients providing essential technical sales support and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own all Transactional accounts in an assigned geography and represent the entire LGC Standards product portfolio at new and existing customers across all end-markets such as Pharma Biotech Environmental etc.
- Identify and close new prospect opportunities generated from a combination of prospecting and qualification in collaboration with our marketing department or self-generated leads
- Actively engage with customers via email phone calls and online meetings to qualify leads convert prospects follow-up on quotations and drive new sales
- Use LGCs sales tools and virtual capabilities to prospect nurture close opportunities and conduct ongoing territory planning
- Close cooperation with marketing to launch new products and the core end-market team to identify competitor activity and trends
- Be responsible for the daily management of relevant service cloud cases ensuring tasks are dealt with and a proper response time is guaranteed
Qualifications :
- MSc in chemistry Pharmaceutical sciences biotechnology or a related subject area (blend of educational qualifications and experience will be reviewed)
- Proven experience in selling technical products used in laboratories
- Successful track record in account management
- Proficiency in customer relationship management platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics
- Strong English communication skills. Additional languages are an asset
- Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed
