The Role: Main Duties and Responsibilities:
In an operational/functional capacity: Attend HHG surveys within the UK and Europe as required Competently assess HHG and plan moves globally Accurately upload volumes and all relevant move details to ascent Ensure proper administration of survey results with relevant communication to stakeholders Liaise with Client Services and Supply Chain on all operational aspects Attend QCs and Site Managements within the UK and Europe as required Prepare and pre-plan work particularly client and assignee awareness pre-survey Stakeholder awareness (internal assignee & corporate) Commercial awareness (costings margins bid summaries credit control) Advise assignees on Insurance Process High value items and exclusions to policy Conduct vendors site visits / meetings Various work on non-corporate business as and when required Any other tasks as required by the needs of the business
Experience: Skills / Abilities & Knowledge
In an operational capacity: Knowledge of weights and volume assessments for HHG Knowledge of global transportation processes by any method Knowledge of global governance relating to shipping (customs requirements) Ability to document clearly & accurately Experience of working with various currencies Knowledge of electrical appliances Customer service skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. Ability to organise and prioritise daily/weekly tasks Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines Ability to listen understand and note information that is communicated during surveys Adaptable to change and works well under pressure Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel Word and Outlook) Possess a pro-active mindset Accountability: GDPR & ISO
Essential Hold a valid in date driving licence that allows you to legally drive in the UK Access to your own motorised vehicle/transport
