As a Receptionist at our hospital youll have great communication IT and keyboard skills. Youre also able to explain sensitive or complicated information in a way thats clear sympathetic and easy to understand. Ideally you have experience of working in healthcare administration or on reception.

As a Receptionist you will:
Help people feel comfortable when they visit your department
Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships
Answer the phone deal with enquiries and book appointments
Welcome patients in person directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms
Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly
Prepare clinical paperwork referral forms charge sheets and terms and conditions

Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms 4 operating theatres acute dependency and oncology units. Weve been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care and our Endoscopy service has achieved JAG accreditation. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.

The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
