Job Summary
Talentmark are recruiting for a R&D Technician to join a Carbon coatings manufacturing company at their site based near Sheffield on a full time permanent basis for 36.25 hours per week. Salary is flexible dependent on qualifications and experience and can be discussed over a call.

R&D Technician Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Testing products and raw materials using analytical techniques including XRD SEM DSC TGA and Particle Size Analysis.
- Assisting other R&D Technicians with formulation development for lubricants and coatings.
- Carrying out COSHH assessments.
- Supporting other R&D Technicians during customer trials.
- Contributing to the maintenance of laboratory areas and equipment.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum level 4 qualification (HNC)or degree (BSc MChem MSci) in Chemistry Materials Science or similar.
- Laboratory experience preferred.
- Full UK Driving Licence for commuting and eventually for customer visits.
