Property Manager

We are working closely with a local authority in Suffolkto assist with the appointment of a Property Manager on a 6-months contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 23.96- 32.66 per hour

Summary:

The Property Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) Property Department ensuring the effective management maintenance development and compliance of the Services property portfolio. The post holder will provide strategic and operational leadership for property-related activities including preventative maintenance programmes reactive repairs estates management budget management contractor performance and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service property portfolio across operational and non-operational sites.
• Ensure all buildings stations and workplaces remain safe compliant operationally effective and fit for purpose.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement innovation and asset optimisation.
• Act as the primary contact for property-related matters involving contractors corporate property teams tenants and external service providers.
• Monitor income generation opportunities and recover costs from tenants and shared occupancy arrangements.

Qualifications:

• Relevant professional qualification in Property Management Estates Management Building Surveying Facilities Management Construction or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Recognised Management Qualification.

Essentials:

• Extensive knowledge of property and estates management principles.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance compliance health and safety and asset management.
• Significant experience managing property estates facilities or asset management services.
• Experience managing budgets revenue streams grants and financial forecasts.

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires a Standard DBS
