We are currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader to join a well-established and rapidly growing food manufacturing company in Northwest London.
This an excellent opportunity for a Production Team Leader or someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced food production environment.
You will be working alongside the Production Supervisor leading a small team whilst remaining hands on.
What Youll Be Doing
Leading and motivating a small production team
Producing high-quality products to specification
Training team members and supporting their development
Operating and monitoring bakery and cooking equipment safely
Ensuring production plans and KPI targets are met
Accurately preparing and weighing ingredients
Following recipes SOPs and production orders
Maintaining high standards of hygiene safety and quality
Completing production logs and quality checks
Supporting line changeovers and cleaning between runs
Identifying and reporting faults or issues quickly
Driving continuous improvement on production lines
What Were Looking For
Experience as a Team Leader (or line leader)
Ready to take the next step in responsibility and accountability
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to follow SOPs and maintain strict quality standards
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel Word etc.)
Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene (preferred but not essential)
Working Environment
Hands-on role in both hot and cold production areas
Working with gluten and allergens
Lifting up to 25kg (with support/equipment)
On your feet for extended periods
Occasional flexibility required (e.g. weekend shifts during peak periods)
