A well-established Building Services Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal/Associate Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Liverpool office. This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to play an influential role within a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors.

The business is recognised for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions across commercial residential healthcare education and mixed-use developments. With a strong project pipeline and continued growth plans they are seeking an individual who can lead projects mentor teams and help drive technical excellence across the mechanical discipline.

The role:
Lead the electrical design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion
Manage and mentor junior and intermediate engineers within the team
Act as a key point of contact for clients contractors and design teams
Produce and review detailed electrical designs including lighting power fire alarm and associated systems
Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Support resource planning project management and technical quality assurance
Attend client and design meetings while helping develop long-term relationships
Contribute to business development activities fee proposals and project bids

What theyre looking for:
Strong background within Building Services Consultancy
Proven experience leading electrical design projects across a range of sectors
Excellent technical knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Experience managing project teams and mentoring engineers
Ability to manage multiple projects and workloads effectively
Chartered Engineer status or working toward Chartership preferred
