Job Summary
OpenShift Administration
Key Responsibilities:
1. KVM Administration:
o Manage and maintain KVM-based virtualization environments including provisioning monitoring and troubleshooting virtual machines.
o Optimize KVM performance and ensure high availability of virtualized infrastructure. Implement security best practices for KVM environments.
2. OpenShift Administration:
o Deploy configure and manage OpenShift clusters in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift workloads ensuring high availability and performance.
o Manage OpenShift networking storage and security configurations. Perform upgrades and patching of OpenShift clusters and associated components.
3. Monitoring and Optimization:
o Implement monitoring solutions for KVM and OpenShift environments using tools like Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack.
o Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations for resource utilization and cost efficiency.
4. Collaboration and Documentation:
o Work closely with development DevOps and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications.
o Document infrastructure designs processes and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: (MAX 8 Points)
1. 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on KVM virtualization and OpenShift administration.
2. Strong expertise in managing KVM hypervisors and virtualized environments.
3. Hands-on experience with OpenShift installation configuration and troubleshooting.
4. Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
5. Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
6. Familiarity with networking concepts storage solutions and security best practices.
7. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
