Due to the secure nature of the programme you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Microsoft Fabric Architect youll help clients design build and optimise modern data and analytics platforms. Youll combine technical leadership with hands-on expertise working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to create scalable secure and business-focused solutions.
Design Microsoft Fabric architectures aligned to business goals
Build scalable solutions using OneLake Lakehouses Warehouses Data Factory and Power BI
Define best practices for governance security deployment and performance
Lead workshops technical discovery sessions and architecture reviews
Mentor engineering and analytics teams on Fabric delivery approaches
Support bids proposals and client engagements as a Fabric specialist
Develop reusable patterns and standards to improve delivery quality
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Youll bring strong experience delivering modern data platforms and a deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric and related Microsoft technologies. You should be comfortable engaging with both senior stakeholders and technical teams translating business requirements into practical scalable solutions.
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms
Strong expertise across Microsoft Fabric services and architecture
Hands-on experience with SQL Python and/or Power BI
Knowledge of Lakehouse Warehouse and modern data engineering patterns
Experience with governance security monitoring and cost optimisation
Strong stakeholder management consulting and communication skills
Ability to mentor teams and provide technical leadership
