Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician or Engineer looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Technician / Engineer to join our team in our Campsie site Derry/Londonderry. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability efficiency and safety of our production equipment helping to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our maintenance team you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance activities including:

• Developing and carrying out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Conducting root cause analysis to identify and eliminate recurring issues.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records service logs and calibration documentation.
• Liaising with OEMs and specialist contractors when required.
• Supporting the implementation of TPM and 5S initiatives.
• Maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns and supporting production teams to minimise downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with all health safety environmental and statutory regulations including PUWER and LOLER.
• Managing spare parts inventory and technical documentation.
• Training and supporting operators with daily equipment checks and basic maintenance activities.

Essential Skills Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible proactive and solution-focused approach.

Desirable Skills Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience working with CNC automated manufacturing equipment Punch or Press Brake machinery.
• Knowledge of TPM PPM systems and CMMS software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
