Lead Anglian Waters SAP development and optimisation

As our Lead SAP Engineer youll take ownership of developing and supporting our SAP platform that underpin our business functions. Youll lead a team of SAP specialists manage technical delivery and ensure our SAP landscape remains resilient secure correctly integrated and aligned to architectural roadmaps. This role is key to maintaining the reliability and performance of SAP applications across finance HR and operations.

What you will be doing

• Design deliver and support SAP solutions aligned to standards.
• Lead SAP upgrades patching and performance tuning activities.
• Ensure integration between SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Manage SAP change requests and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SAP engineers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define solution roadmaps.

What does it take to be a Lead SAP Engineer

• Strong experience in SAP development and system administration.
• Knowledge of SAP modules including FI HR and PM.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and middleware.
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and change management.
