Kitchen Supervisor

As our next Kitchen Team Member you will:

• Prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair within the cost margins specified by the hotel.
• Manage stock rotation control procedures and order necessary foods according to proposed business demands.
• Liaise with Restaurant employees regarding menu availability additions and relevant changes.
• Supervise and co-ordinate the work of kitchen staff in food preparation and production providing guidance and ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance provide constructive feedback and support the professional development of kitchen staff members.
• Maintain all working areas equipment and facilities to the highest standards reporting any issues to management and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a professional kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety hygiene standards and health and safety regulations
• Proficiency in food preparation techniques and menu planning
• Demonstrated ability to manage stock control inventory and cost margins effectively
• Communication interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to mentor kitchen staff and maintain attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst leading by example and maintaining quality standards
