Interim Employee Relations Advisor

Were looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join us on a 12-month parental leave cover someone who thrives in a fast-paced hands-on environment and is passionate about making a real impact on peoples day-to-day working lives. Reporting into the Employee Relations Manager youll play a key role in shaping consistent people-focused practices across the business.

This is a role where no two days are the same. One moment youll be partnering with managers to navigate complex ER cases; the next youll be coaching leaders contributing to policy development or using data to spot trends and influence better decision-making. Youll be trusted to bring both expertise and empathy balancing commercial awareness with a genuine care for people.

Youll act as a go-to partner for managers and employees alike providing clear pragmatic advice across a full range of employee relations matters from investigations and disciplinaries to grievances and performance conversations. Alongside this youll help build manager capability ensuring they feel confident and supported when handling people matters themselves.

Youll also have the opportunity to get involved in wider ER projects policy development and training initiatives while working closely with HR colleagues legal teams Trade Unions and stakeholders across the business to deliver a consistent and high-quality employee experience.

Were looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in employee relations whether from an HR Advisor or ER Advisor background who is confident managing cases end-to-end and comfortable navigating employment law and best practice. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential as is the ability to stay organised handle sensitive situations with discretion and keep things moving at pace.

An interest in data and analytics will also set you apart as youll use insight to support reporting and help shape future improvements. CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is desirable and experience within a manufacturing or operational environment would be an advantage.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days onsite per week in Gaydon. Flexibility around working hours is important to support different sites and business needs and occasional travel across Aston Martin locations will be required so a full UK driving licence is essential.
