The Role
A leading defence technology company is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to support Naval Surveillance and Government programmes.
You will be responsible for delivering ILS activities throughout the equipment lifecycle including project development in-service support and bid phases. This is an excellent opportunity to work on advanced defence systems while contributing to the growth of the organisations support engineering capability.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver ILS solutions across the equipment lifecycle.
Conduct:
Supportability Analysis
Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
Spares Ranging and Scaling
Whole Life Cost Analysis
Logistics Information Repository management
Obsolescence Analysis
Support bid and proposal activities with technical and cost inputs.
Assist in developing and expanding the organisations ILS capability.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with customers suppliers and internal teams.
Occasional UK and overseas travel as required.
Essential Requirements
HNC/HND Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Support Engineering.
Knowledge of Def Stan 00-60 / 00-600 and the Defence Logistics Framework (DLF).
Experience supporting defence equipment throughout its lifecycle.
Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Eligible to obtain and maintain SC Clearance.
Desirable Requirements
Experience with ASD S3000L.
Experience within Naval Maritime Defence Surveillance or Government sectors.
Knowledge of technical publications and support data management.
Personal Attributes
Self-motivated and proactive.
Strong attention to detail.
Professional and customer-focused.
Adaptable team player with excellent communication skills.
