Job Summary
Strategic HR Support
- Support the HR Manager and business leaders by providing insight and recommendations on workforce trends employee engagement organisational effectiveness and people-related risks.
- Partner with managers across the business to support delivery of HR initiatives aligned to operational and commercial objectives.
- Analyse HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends support decision-making and recommend proactive improvements.
- Contribute to organisational change initiatives including restructures workforce planning and process improvement projects.
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
HR Operations
- Support the day-to-day delivery of HR Operations services ensuring an efficient customer-focused and compliant HR function.
- Maintain and continuously improve HR systems policies and processes to ensure they remain effective compliant and aligned to business needs.
- Produce regular and ad hoc management information reports to support business decision-making.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures remain up to date with current employment legislation and HR best practice.
Employee Relations & Advisory
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary grievance capability absence management flexible working and employee wellbeing issues.
- Support managers throughout employee relations processes including investigations hearings and case management ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
- Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and proactively recommend policy or process changes where required.
Qualifications :
- Degree educated in Human Resources Business or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Proven experience within a HR Operations or HR Advisory role.
- Previous HR and payroll experience essential.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or operational environment essential.
- Strong experience handling complex employee relations matters with sound judgement and a pragmatic approach.
- Experience analysing HR data and producing management information to support business decisions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficient in HR systems payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications.
