Foreperson
Location: Egham Staines.
We are currently seeking a Foreperson to join our AMP8 Framework Team working on site at Affinity Waters Egham Water Treatment Works. The project involves construction of a new Rapid Gravity Treatment Plant alongside associated works to upgrade the existing clean water treatment facility.
In this role youll play a key part in the safe highquality delivery of works on site supporting the project team to meet both client and organisational expectations.
Our Environment Division delivers endtoend (source to sea) asset solutions across the UK and Scotland working on both framework and standalone projects. Since AMP3 we have successfully delivered over 2bn of assets for clients including Yorkshire Water United Utilities Anglian Water Thames Water Southern Water Welsh Water and Scottish Water.

What youll be doing:
- Promoting and maintaining a safe healthy and inclusive working environment on site.
- Supervising and supporting the site workforce and supply chain on a daytoday basis.
- Leading and coordinating daily sitebased construction activities.
- Managing labour plant and materials to meet programme and cost targets.
- Identifying reporting and supporting the management of any changes in scope design programme or commercial impact.
- Ensuring both temporary and permanent works are delivered in line with approved designs and quality standards.
- Understanding and implementing temporary works requirements where applicable.
- Providing regular progress and performance updates to the Site Manager.
- Ensuring site teams and partners are working to the latest design and construction information.
- Carrying out regular health and safety inspections and promoting best practice.
- Ensuring RAMS permits to work site inductions and safety briefings are completed correctly and consistently.
- Escalating technical challenges or unforeseen issues promptly and constructively.
- Maintaining robust quality assurance and control processes.
- Completing accurate and detailed daily site records and diaries.
About you:
Youll be someone who leads by example values teamwork and takes pride in creating a positive respectful site culture. You will bring:
- A strong commitment to health safety and wellbeing.
- A good understanding of quality assurance processes.
- Experience working in heavy civils and/or water industry environments.
- Confidence reading and interpreting drawings specifications programmes and technical information.
- Proven experience leading teams within a construction site environment.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- A proactive collaborative approach aligned with our values of Excellence Passion Integrity and Collaboration.
Qualifications and certifications (or working towards):
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- EUSR National Water Hygiene
- EUSR Modules 1 & 2
- Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS)
- First Aid at Work
- Fire Marshal
- A relevant qualification in construction engineering or a related discipline.
