Description

We are hiring for our client a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business in Belfast to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Days). This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer seeking a stable long-term role with a Monday-Friday dayshift pattern strong earning potential and an excellent benefits package.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will join a busy maintenance team supporting production through planned preventative maintenance fault finding and continuous improvement activities across a modern manufacturing environment.

The Role

Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across manufacturing equipment
Diagnose faults and minimise downtime in a fast-paced production environment
Support continuous improvement and reliability projects across site
Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure maximum machine performance
Assist with electrical installations upgrades and equipment improvements
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

The Person

Time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer or equivalent engineering qualification
Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing production or industrial environments
Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment would be advantageous
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintenance and reliability
