Salary: 50-63K (plus up to 10% bonus 15% pension and private healthcare)

Location: Glasgow (hybrid 2-3 days in the office)

At ScottishPower were looking for a Cyber Security and Business Continuity professional to join our team and help strengthen how we protect our systems data and operations.

What Youll Be Doing

This is a varied hands-on role where youll support the planning delivery and continuous improvement of cyber security and business continuity across the Customer Business. Working alongside a team of experienced security professionals youll play a key part in keeping our operations secure resilient and aligned with industry standards.

Youll be involved in everything from incident identification and response through to risk management third-party assurance and recovery planning. A big part of the role is reviewing how we currently work identifying where we can improve and helping to implement changes that make a real difference to our overall security posture.

Youll also collaborate with teams across the wider Iberdrola Group as well as external partners giving you exposure to a global cyber function and the opportunity to contribute to wider strategic initiatives. At the same time youll stay close to day-to-day operations helping ensure our services are delivered effectively and consistently.

What Youll Bring

Were looking for someone with a background in cyber security and/or business continuity within an IT environment ideally with experience across monitoring incident response or service delivery. Knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001 or 22301 is helpful and any experience with tools such as SIEM SOAR XDR or vulnerability management would be an advantage.

Youll need to be confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels able to translate technical risks into clear practical insights. Strong problem-solving skills a collaborative mindset and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery will be key to success.
