Technical Partners are looking for an experienced Compex Electrical Supervisor to join our clientsexpanding delivery team across sites in Bristol Reading and London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical installation activities on hazardous areas and industrial sites ensuring all works are delivered safely efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
You will oversee teams of electricians and subcontractors on projects involving ATEX installations industrial power distribution control systems MCCs instrumentation and associated EC&I works.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise electrical installation teams on industrial and hazardous area projects
Ensure all works comply with COMPEX ATEX and site-specific safety requirements
Manage daily site activities toolbox talks RAMS and permit systems
Coordinate labour materials and project schedules with site management
Ensure installations are completed to specification programme and quality standards
Carry out inspections snagging and commissioning support activities
Maintain strong communication with clients project managers and engineering teams
Promote a strong health & safety culture on site
Assist with progress reporting and site documentation
Requirements
Valid COMPEX 01-04 certification (essential)
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent
Strong knowledge of hazardous area regulations and ATEX environments
Experience within Oil & Gas Energy Utilities Renewables or Process sectors advantageous
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
Full UK driving licence
