CG Supervisor

Overview

Were seeking an experienced CG Supervisor to lead the delivery of high-quality visual effects across our productions. Youll oversee CG teams guide creative and technical direction and ensure work is delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Youll bring strong leadership experience expert knowledge of tools like Maya/Houdini and a sharp eye for lighting realism and detail. A solid understanding of CG pipelines and workflows is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee CG production across assets environments lighting and FX
• Collaborate with VFX Supervisor Director and Production to define visual goals
• Review work providing clear artistic and technical direction
• Manage and optimise CG pipelines and workflows
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and ensure efficient production processes
• Supervise mentor and support CG artists and leads
• Coordinate across departments (animation FX lighting compositing)
• Monitor schedules and resources to meet project deadlines
• Present work to stakeholders and respond to feedback

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in VFX/CG production including leadership roles
• Expertise in tools such as Maya Houdini Blender and rendering engines (Arnold V-Ray etc.)
• Solid understanding of CG pipelines and workflows
• Strong artistic eye for lighting composition and realism
• Excellent problem-solving communication and team leadership skills
• Scripting knowledge (e.g. Python) is a plus

Qualifications

• Degree in VFX Animation Computer Graphics or equivalent experience
• Typically 7 years in CG/VFX with supervisory experience
