Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper job include:

Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
Maintaining accurate financial records
Processing transactions and reconciliations
Liaising directly with clients regarding bookkeeping matters
Supporting the wider accounts team where required
Ensuring client records are maintained accurately and efficiently
Delivering a high level of client service at all times

Requirements of the Bookkeeper job include:

Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice environment
Strong bookkeeping knowledge and practical experience
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good communication and client-facing skills
Organised and detail-oriented approach
Friendly and professional manner
Experience using bookkeeping software within practice desirable
