Boeing Defence United Kingdom LimitedAn opportunity has become available working within Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) as a Finance Systems Integration Lead. This role can be based in Gosport or Bristol with some virtual or hybrid working depending on business needs.
Responsibilities:
Over-arching keyresponsibility to embed finance systems best practice and ensure suite of systems is efficient and effective.This role will manage andparticipatein systems development projects pertinent to the BDUK Finance team andensure swiftresolution of issues with current functionalitythrough working collaboratively with the following;
Colleagues across finance and the US Financial Systems and Analysis (FS&A) team.
Future Finance Strategy Team
BGS-G SAP Implementation Business Team
Other BGS Global teams
The role will have responsibility for ensuring that the full capabilities of our financial systems areleveragedto the maximum benefit developingsystems needs analysisregardingthe future systems strategy. This will be achieved through understanding current systems useidentifyingbest practice and defining the business gaps that need to be bridged.This position will encompass responsibility asthe BDUKFinance SAP focal linking in with wider BDUK support teamand be charged with the following;
SAP S4 HANAClose to Report(C2R)Value Stream Lead and Business sustainment lead for C2R &Order to Cash (OtC)
Finance Change requestsand opportunities for improvementsoversight and requesting
Be theinterface for finance for all financial systems within BDUK
Support broader functional initiatives as appropriate
This opportunity will alsohave involvementwith broader BDUK information and data strategy and management including development of the BDUK Portal /SharePointsupport.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Typically 38 years experience in programme/project accounting costcontrolor commercial finance experience on large multi-year programmes is preferred.
Experience in the relevant industry (e.g. aerospace defence construction engineering IT programmes) isadvantageous.
Proficiencywithfinancial systems includingERP systems (SAP S4 HANA)EVM Systems (e.g.DeltekCobra) Microsoft products (Teams SharePoint Azure DevOps).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Professional accounting qualification preferred (ACAACCA CIMA CPA).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables lookups modelling); familiarity with Power BI/Tableau is desirable.
Demonstrated ability toidentifyand implement process improvements.
A self-starter comfortable with challenging established processes and driving improvements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to explain complex financial information to non-finance audiences.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
