An established and highly respected automotive retail group is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team in Canterbury on a maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced commercial environment supporting day-to-day financial reporting and accounting operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Management Accountant responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with forecasting and budgeting activities
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Responding to finance-related queries from senior management and operational teams
- Liaising with regional and group finance departments to ensure consistency across reporting processes
- Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records and controls
The Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Strong communication and organisational skills
