On behalf of our client in the energy sector we are looking for a competent skilled and experienced sales account manager to work in Kampala.

Reports to: sales supervisor/management.
Job summary
This is a field-based sales role focused on prospecting product promotion order generation and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will regularly move within Kampala and surrounding areas building a strong pipeline of customers and representing the brand professionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and approach potential customers including shops supermarkets restaurants hotels and wholesale outlets.
Promote and sell products to both new and existing customers.
Deliver daily weekly and monthly sales in line with assigned targets.
Build strong customer relationships and provide responsive customer service.
Follow up customer orders and coordinate for timely delivery.
Gather useful market intelligence including competitor pricing and customer feedback.
Prepare and submit accurate daily sales reports.
Represent professionally and protect the brands reputation in the market.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE); UACE certificate or diploma is an added advantage.
Previous sales or marketing experience is an added advantage.
Must know how to ride a motorcycle; a valid riding permit is an added advantage.
Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated target-oriented and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Residence in or around Kisasi is an added advantage.
