Job summary
About the Electrician Role
Our client seeks skilled electricians to maintain repair and upgrade electrical systems
across their facility. The ideal candidates will combine technical electrical expertise with
practical plumbing knowledge to address multi-system maintenance needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install maintain and repair electrical wiring fixtures and systems
Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed
Troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues and provide timely solutions
Ensure compliance with electrical and safety codes
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years professional experience in electrical installation and maintenance
Practical knowledge and experience with basic plumbing systems
Valid Uganda National ID (required)
Strong problem-solving and technical skills
Ability to work independently and respond to urgent maintenance calls
Excellent communication and customer service orientation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field. Minimum 58 years of experience in food and beverage operations with at least 23 years in a managerial role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven experience in financial management budgeting and cost control. Strong understanding of food safety hygiene and service standards. Ability to manage multiple outlets and functions simultaneously. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays DESIRABLE SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES. Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management tools. Experience in event and banqueting operations. Beverage wine or bar management knowledge. Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong leadership presence and decision-making ability. High attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
