Job summary
Buildbase Contractors is hiring an experienced Site Foreman to supervise daily construction activities on structured building projects. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical grounding who can manage site crews and ensure works are completed safely on time and to specification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of site workers and subcontractors.
Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with drawings specifications and quality standards.
Enforce health and safety practices on site at all times.
Monitor use of materials tools and labor to ensure efficiency and minimize wastage.
Report daily progress delays and site issues to the project engineer/management.
Coordinate deliveries of materials and ensure proper storage and handling on site.
Maintain discipline attendance and productivity of the site workforce.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related building/construction discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience with proven work on structured building projects.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction/structural drawings.
Demonstrated leadership and team supervision skills.
Good understanding of site safety practices and quality control.
Physically fit and able to work on active construction sites.

Required Skills:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and standard engineering software Sound understanding of construction methods materials and site practices. Strong analytical reporting and problem-solving skills. Registration/membership with a recognised engineering body is an added advantage. Ability to work on-site and manage multiple tasks under supervision.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
