Job Summary
On behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced ICT and Cybersecurity Manager to lead the organisations technology infrastructure information security systems availability and digital-risk management.
The successful candidate will ensure that technology platforms are secure reliable scalable and aligned with business needs. The role requires a hands-on technology leader with strong experience in infrastructure management cybersecurity controls business continuity and third-party technology governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organisations ICT and cybersecurity strategy.
- Manage networks servers cloud platforms business applications databases and end-user technology.
- Establish information-security policies standards procedures and technical controls.
- Monitor technology systems for security threats vulnerabilities and unauthorised activity.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments penetration testing and remediation activities.
- Manage user access identity controls data backups encryption and security monitoring.
- Develop and test disaster-recovery incident-response and business-continuity plans.
- Lead investigations and responses to cybersecurity incidents and technology disruptions.
- Ensure technology practices comply with applicable data-protection and regulatory requirements.
- Manage technology vendors software licences service-level agreements and outsourced support providers.
- Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee ICT projects system upgrades integrations and technology implementations.
- Prepare ICT budgets and monitor technology expenditure.
- Deliver information-security awareness programmes for employees.
- Lead coach and evaluate ICT team members.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Cybersecurity Information Systems or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP CISM CEH CompTIA Security or an equivalent qualification are preferred.
- A postgraduate qualification in Information Security Technology Management or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
- At least eight years of progressive experience in ICT infrastructure systems administration or cybersecurity.
- A minimum of three years in a technology leadership or management position.
- Previous experience in banking financial services financial technology telecommunications or another regulated industry is desirable.
