Job Summary

  • Farmer Onboarding & Sourcing: Sourcing and onboarding coffee farmers to build a strong supplier base.

  • Procurement Strategy: Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Supplier Management & Negotiation: Identifying evaluating selecting and negotiating favorable pricing payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.

  • Order & Delivery Management: Monitoring order statuses to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of production processing packaging and distribution materials.

  • Cost Efficiency & Quality: Driving cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality while conducting regular supplier performance evaluations.

  • Market Tracking: Tracking market trends affecting logistics and coffee production inputs.



  • Requirements
  • Work Experience: 23 years of experience in coffee procurement.

  • Location: Must be based in or operating within Lukaya or Miwula.

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field (flexible if candidates possess relevant hands-on coffee procurement experience).

  • Coffee Expertise: Deep understanding of coffee quality standards and the ability to negotiate pricing based on quality assessment.

  • Core Competencies: Strong strategic sourcing supplier negotiation inventory/supply chain management vendor relationship management and team leadership skills.

  • Integrity: Excellent communication abilities and high standards of business ethics and integrity.




  • Required Skills:

    Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration Social Sciences or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or professional certification (CHRP IHRM or equivalent) is an added advantage. Minimum 46 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Prior experience in a manufacturing FMCG agribusiness or food production environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience managing HR for a workforce of 50 employees including field and production staff. Strong working knowledge of Ugandas Employment Act and labor regulations.
