Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
Perform masonry work related to the maintenance repair and renovation of hotel buildings and facilities. Repair walls partitions floors stairways terraces walkways and other masonry structures. Carry out tiling plastering pointing and finishing works in accordance with hotel quality standards. Participate in renovation projects involving guest rooms public areas restaurants meeting rooms and recreational facilities. Inspect and identify damaged structures and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Prepare surfaces and materials required for masonry work. Read and interpret construction drawings maintenance work orders and technical instructions. Ensure high-quality workmanship and aesthetic finishes that support the hotels image and standards. Maintain safe work areas and minimize disruptions to hotel guests and staff during maintenance activities. Collaborate with other maintenance team members including plumbers electricians painters and carpenters to ensure hotel facilities are properly maintained. Comply with all health safety and environmental regulations and procedures. Maintain tools equipment and work areas in good condition and ensure proper housekeeping practices.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems safety hazards accidents or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language prepare and review written documents accurately and completely and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others support team to reach common goals and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Visually inspect tools equipment or machines (e.g. to identify defects). Reach overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Technical Trade or Vocational School Degree.
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
