About The National Library of Israel

The library and the Wikimedia Israel worked together to introduce you to the world of editing Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia. At the meeting, you will be exposed to the idea behind the Wikipedia Initiative, and learn how to contribute to the world's largest pool of knowledge. At the end of the session, you can experiment with practical editing, and leave your mark on one of the most influential collaborative enterprises. Meetings are held at the National Library, and are usually scheduled on the first Friday of each month. We will publish a special announcement from time to time about the exact dates. Each session includes an introductory lecture for Wikipedia (60 minutes), practical account opening and editing tutorials (60 minutes), and hands-on experience. Meetings are held in the computerized training room adjacent to the library entrance.
