Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is a leading global manufacturer of solar trackers and fixed-tilt racking systems based in the United States. We are currently hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer in Thailand who will be responsible for driving quality control processes with suppliers and vendors and managing raw material in-process and outgoing quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute quality plans and perform inspections at supplier sites
- Analyze quality issues conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Prepare and approve quality documentation (FAI PDI MDCC)
- Drive continuous quality improvement using 8D 7QC SPC MSA CP/Cpk
- Conduct product and process audits; identify and close non-conformances
- Train suppliers and inspectors on quality standards
- Manage TPI and inspection team to achieve quality objectives
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
- 5 years of experience with minimum 3 years in Solar PV Structure QA/QC
- Drawing interpretation and inspection methodology
- Quality standards: ASTM 8D FMEA 7QC SPC MSA
- Experience in rolling sheet metal assembly manufacturing galvanization
- Shop floor leadership and analytical ability
- Results-oriented with sense of urgency
- Cross-functional collaboration
- English (mandatory verbal and written)
