Sales Engineer

SPECIFIC DUTIES ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Promote and conduct Sales work on the assigned John Crane product(s) to the targeted customers within the territory / market areas given.
• Initiate communication manage interpret the customer requirement and come up with a plan to fulfil the requirement with possible highest satisfaction (including specification interpretation quotation bidding proposal and any other supports may require).
• Negotiating tender contract terms and close Sales.
• Provide certain level of guideline pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers (where requires).
• Conduct and provide reports as required (periodically & as per request).
• Liaising with other members of Sales team and others plus utilise available resource at that time to ensure the best possible solution & outcome of each work / tasks assigned.
• Maintain existing and establish new relationships with customers under territory / market areas given.
• Perform other tasks assigned by direct report manager (if any).

Qualifications :

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Eng or Chemical Eng.

Experience:

Minimum 3 Years of related experience.

Technical Skills:

Proven experience / knowledge on rotating and related equipment especially on mechanical seal and / or filtration system would be an advantage.

Familiarity with basic / fundamental use of mechanic tools (e.g. vernier caliper).

Fluent in English / Thai communication skills.

Proven effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
