Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Perform Service Maintenance planned and unplanned in Focused Area: Filling lines
• Complete assigned job in a timely and qualitative manner
• Installation Commissioning or Overhaul support/ execution
• Prepare Hazard and Risk Assessment and ensure implementation in compliance with customer & company SOP
• Perform periodical visit inspection of the plants to monitor the status and performances
• Perform site troubleshooting and/or customer support
• Write comprehensive service report timely
• Provide customer training on equipment operation and basic maintenance
• Promote companys product and services
• Support the Service Sales in generating opportunity after site inspections
• Support Service Sales for Technical clarification & Spare Parts recommendation
• Join customer meeting when technical support is required
• Contributing positively to Businesss achievement incl his individual targets and Country targets
• Utilize the supportive tools part of the Smart filling online (GEMS GESP GEA-Assist e-shop).
• Travel requirement 80% in the country and/or other SEA countries.
• Other tasks assigned by manager.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechatronics Engineering Automation Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 25 years of experience in field service maintenance commissioning or automation engineering.
• Experience in food beverage dairy pharmaceutical or aseptic processing industries is preferred.
• Experience with filling machines packaging equipment or process automation systems is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machine maintenance.
• Knowledge of PLCs HMI industrial networks and automation troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of servo systems sensors instrumentation and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with aseptic processing and filling technology is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently.

Good command of English both written and spoken.
