On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced Service Engineer.
JOB PURPOSE.
To fulfill the customers needs in all aspects of service jobs commissioning spare/ware parts and machine repairs.
POSITION IN THE COMPANY

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN TASKS
- Interact with the client to fulfill service jobs/quotations/spare-ware parts.
- Attend to the clients calls/e-mails for technical support.
- Commissioning single machines.
- Giving technical support to projects
- Execute service contracts and servicing of machines.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through insights / retrofits / upgrades.
- Judiciously assist in sourcing components for projects balancing the trade-offs between cost quality and lead time.
- Ensure coordination with other disciplines is effective for each project/ task.
- Ensure compliance with Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Requirements of training and work experience
Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical Mechatronic Engineering or relevant field .
Higher technological education .
Good knowledge of MS office programs.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English & Swahili including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company
Minimum 3 years in a related technical position or proof of sufficient skills
Firm grasp of engineering concepts (mechanical & electrical)
Process experience in the milling industry including knowledge of flour feeds coffee pulses & rice processing is an advantage.

Must be able to work under extreme pressure.
Willingness to travel and be out of the country (>60%)
