Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and professional Management Couple to join an exclusive luxury property group with opportunities based in Kenya and Tanzania.

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-matched couple with strong luxury hospitality experience who can work collaboratively while taking ownership of their respective areas of responsibility. The successful couple will be expected to lead by example maintain exceptional operational standards and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

The successful couple will work together to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the property ensuring exceptional standards across all departments.

Responsibilities may include:

• Overseeing daily property operations and ensuring consistently high service standards.
  
• Providing strong leadership direction and support to the lodge/property team.
  
• Ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure.
  
• Managing and motivating staff while fostering a positive and professional working environment.
  
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping food and beverage guest service and overall presentation.
  
• Monitoring operational procedures and ensuring company standards are consistently maintained.
  
• Assisting with staff recruitment training development and performance management.
  
• Managing stock levels operational costs and departmental budgets where applicable.
  
• Working closely with senior management to achieve operational and financial objectives.
  
• Handling guest queries requests and concerns professionally and efficiently.
  
• Ensuring effective communication between departments.
  
• Maintaining health safety hygiene and security standards.
  
• Assisting with administrative and reporting requirements.
  
• Taking a hands-on approach and supporting the team wherever operationally required.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in luxury lodge safari hotel or high-end hospitality management.
  
• Proven experience in a senior supervisory or management capacity.
  
• Experience working within a remote or safari environment will be advantageous.
  
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  
• Excellent guest relations and communication abilities.
  
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  
• Good financial and commercial awareness.
  
• Ability to manage operational challenges calmly and professionally.
  
• A hands-on and flexible approach to management.
  
• High levels of professionalism integrity and discretion.
  
• Both partners should be able to work independently while functioning effectively as a team.
  
• International or African safari experience will be advantageous.
