Job Summary

Polaroid is looking for an HRD Asia to lead and manage the employee lifecycle across the region. This role will act as the main HR point of contact for APAC partnering closely with business leaders and the HQ in Amsterdam to support organizational growth build strong teams and create an exceptional employee experience.

This is a strategic and hands-on role. You will work directly with senior stakeholders while also ensuring operational excellence across HR processes policies and talent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders providing guidance on organizational design leadership effectiveness team performance and workforce planning.

• Coach managers on building high performing tems employee engagement team feedback culture and team dynamics and development.

• Provide feedback to management to increase leadership effectiveness.

• Proactively identify talent retention risks and implement action plans.

Employee Relations & HR Operations

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices across multiple countries in Asia.

• Drive HR processes including employee lifecycle changes compensation cycles and policy implementation.

Culture & Employee Experience

• Champion Polaroid culture in the region and embed the company values in everything People

• Build initiatives that reinforce Polaroids values and culture while reflecting local cultural nuances.

• Support onboarding experiences to ensure strong integration and retention of new hires.

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution

• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead in HQ to define the APAC hiring strategy aligned with business growth plans.

• Drive recruitment execution for all roles in the region.

• Build strong talent pipelines and strengthen Polaroids employer brand in the region.

What You Bring

• 10 years of HR experience in a People Business Partner or HR Manager role.

• Experience supporting multi-country teams across Asia. Experience working in China is considered a plus.

• Strong cross-cultural experience with a proven ability to bridge Western and Asian cultures ways of working and expectations. Experience working in Western countries and/or in Western-headquartered or Western-culture companies is highly desirable.

• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decision-making.

• Solid exposure to talent acquisition strategy and recruitment execution.

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude comfortable switching between big-picture planning and day-to-day execution.

• Creative pragmatic and solution-oriented think outside the box and challenge the status quo constructively.

• Self-driven and adaptive.
