Job Summary
Review and approve daily accounting entries ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance with accounting standards local tax regulation and internal control requirements.
Lead and manage the monthly / annual closing process and coordinate preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
Oversee the accounting-related use of SAP ensuring postings reconciliations and month-end/year-end procedures are executed correctly within the system.
Supervise coach and develop accounting staff; review their work output and support their professional growth.
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.
Solid knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS or local GAAP) and statutory/tax compliance requirements.
Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent.
Experience working in a multinational company.
Experience with system implementation process re-engineering or ERP migration projects.
