Pharma Technical Development (PTD) is a global team of over 2000 experts focused on developing innovative medicines to address patients needs.
Within PTD Synthetic Molecules Technical Development (PTDC) specializes in drug substance drug product and analytical sciences. PTDC is instrumental in advancing the synthetic molecules pipeline supporting research early development and clinical trials through technical innovation and collaboration.
This opportunity lies within analytical development for synthetic molecules where cutting-edge techniques like high-performance liquid chromatography gas/ion chromatography and mass spectrometry are employed to develop efficient and robust analytical methods. The goal is to ensure the release of clinical trial products and their eventual commercial supply through a strong control strategy.
Take the lead in pioneering innovative analytical techniques while contributing to the successful delivery of clinical and commercial therapiesapply now and help shape the future of healthcare!
Develop and refine robust analytical methods (e.g. HPLC GC LC-MS GC-MS KF) for the quality assessment of starting materials intermediates and active substances.
Plan and execute thorough experimentsincluding reaction monitoring and method development
Work closely with process development scientists and cross-functional partners to coordinate analytical activities and sample management
Close collaboration with QC unit to allow a smooth transfer of developed analytical methods
Produce high-quality documentation including analytical procedures and reports that serve as the basis for method validation and regulatory filings.
Leverage an innovative mindset and digital tools to continuously improve analytical workflows in a fast-paced evolving research environment.
You have completed a vocational scientific apprenticeship or possess a Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biochemistry or a related field with min. 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
You have significant hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (e.g. HPLC GC KF MS) and a strong background in method development.
You demonstrate a high-quality scientific writing style and the ability to summarize and present results of complex experiments.
You maintain a strong quality mindset with an uncompromising attention to detail even when working in a non-GMP development setting.
You are proactive self-motivated and able to adapt quickly to new tools and processes in a dynamic team environment.
You have an excellent command of English (German proficiency is a plus) and thrive in collaborative team-oriented settings.
Knowledge of GxP requirements and method validation is a plus.
