Job Summary
While real-time data processing inside the instruments has been key traditionally the tight low-latency integration with an environment of CPUs and GPUs gains great importance now. With the Data Transfer team you lead a small group of proven experts accelerating this transition. You will directly report to our VP R&D.
- Lead our high-performance data path team driving CPU/GPU integration for next-gen quantum computing instruments.
- Drive all aspects of people development in close collaboration with our HR team.
- Engage in architecture decisions for backend- and server-SW.
- Build engineering capability manage technical debt and optimize delivery processes.
- Own delivery of features.
- Align with stakeholders including product management cross-functional agile development teams or our Engineering Productivity team.
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science Physics Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3 years leading a software engineering team with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Broad C experience in a professional environment.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and interfacing with firmware or specialized hardware.
- Experience withCUDA Python or Rust (Nice-to-have)
- Exposure toRDMA/RoCE high-performance computing or low-latency systems (Nice-to-have).
- Background in controlling lab equipment (Nice-to-have).
