Senior Test Specialist

Responsible for all test activities throughout testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts.
Customer facing role requiring excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.

Your key tasks

• Lead the project-based test team enabling it to deliver the highest level of quality across our testing services and practices
• Define Test Policy and Test Plan
• Manage customer relationship with appropriate communication and coordinate testing activities with customer Test Manager
• Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates
• Report progress to management and customer
• Design update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements ensuring their re-usability
• Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance assessment on environment readiness)
• Manage tools for testing tracking defects statistics and requirements coverage reporting
• Documentation and evaluation the results of the testing

Qualifications :

• University degree in Engineering Banking Finance Business or Economics
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years work experience within the banking/financial industry
• In-depth knowledge of test concepts and methodology
• Working knowledge of QC/ALM JIRA MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competences 
• Ability to work in a highly challenging fast-paced and complex environment
• Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients locally and in EMEA region 
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills with an emphasis on client service and presentation
• Fluency in English

It would be a real bonus if you have 

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent
• Experience with Avaloq banking system solution is a strong plus
• Experience of testing in agile context: (Continuous Integration Continuous Testing TDD BDD API testing)
• French German Italian language skills
