Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers thatare responsible forensuring delivery of quality components materials and services in compliancetopurchasingcontrols.
Manage performance develop talentengagementand inclusion communicate business and operational developments plan prioritize and/or direct the responsibilities of direct reports.
Accountable for mentoring developing and coaching staff on meeting / exceeding performance expectations and definedobjectives.
Provide leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets conducting performance reviews and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.
Develop/maintainmonitoring systems to track supplier & team performance (training nonconformances open actions Supplier CAPA supplier change management Global Supplier Quality improvement programs goals etc.).
Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing functions to investigate and resolve supplier-related quality or compliance issues discovered during incoming inspection and/or production.
Lead team in corrective/preventive actions to resolve supplier-related issues (e.g. nonconformances Supplier CAPA activities audit findings complaint investigations etc.).
Ensure compliancetopurchasingcontrols including supporting internalandexternal audits and inspections.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelorsdegree.
Minimum of5years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of3years of relevant experience
Strong leadershipcoachingand mentoring skills for the team of direct reports
Strong communication organizational and project planning skills
Nice to Have:
MBAMasters in Engineering science or technical field
ASQ CQE CQA and/or CSQP certification
First Time Quality (FTQ) Coach / Six Sigma / Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certified
