Senior QC Microbiology Technician 6 Months

Strong in Environmental Monitoring and ready to take responsibility in a GMP-regulated microbiology laboratory

For a temporary assignment within an international pharmaceutical environment in Boudry we are looking for an experienced QC Microbiology Technician. You will support daily laboratory operations with a particular focus on Environmental Monitoring sampling data review and compliant sample management.

• Perform Environmental Monitoring sampling in GMP-controlled areas
• Support microbiological utility and incoming-material activities
• Ensure correct sample labelling tracking and chain-of-custody documentation
• Review laboratory data and maintain accurate GMP records
• Support deviation and laboratory investigations through data collection
• Prepare reagents and manage laboratory materials and inventories
• Update laboratory procedures and other controlled documents
• Train and support junior colleagues in laboratory activities
• Contribute to inspections audits and continuous-improvement initiatives
• Coordinate operational activities with laboratory and manufacturing teams

• Relevant education in microbiology biotechnology laboratory sciences or a comparable field
• Strong hands-on experience in Environmental Monitoring sampling
• Professional experience in a QC laboratory preferably within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment
• Good understanding of cGMP regulatory requirements and laboratory procedures
• Experience with electronic laboratory systems such as LIMS
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills
• Ability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills in English and/or French
