As part of the development of our activities in the canton of Vaud we are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer (M/F) with strong expertise in analog electronics power electronics and EMC.
You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team involved in the development of advanced electronic products for demanding environments.
Design and develop analog mixed-signal and power electronic boards.
Define hardware architectures and translate system requirements into robust electronic solutions.
Design DC-DC converters power supplies protection circuits and low-noise power architectures.
Perform schematic design component selection and support PCB layout activities.
Define layout constraints related to power EMC grounding shielding thermal behavior and signal quality.
Conduct board bring-up debugging verification and qualification activities.
Investigate and solve issues related to EMI/EMC ripple load transients thermal behavior or power stability.
Contribute to design reviews technical trade-offs and risk analyses.
Ensure DFM DFA DFT and maintainability considerations throughout the development process.
Produce and maintain design validation and manufacturing documentation.
Support industrialization activities and transfer designs into production.
You hold a Masters degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering or a related field.
You have minimum10 years of experience in hardware development with a strong background in analog electronics DC-DC converters power architecture EMC and board-level validation.
Senior experience in electronic hardware development.
Strong experience in analog electronics and/or power electronics.
Experience with DC-DC converters power supplies or power architecture.
Good understanding of EMC / EMI design constraints.
Experience in schematic design and component selection.
Experience in board bring-up debugging verification and validation.
Ability to work on low-noise high-reliability and thermally constrained electronic systems.
Hands-on laboratory experience using oscilloscopes power supplies signal generators spectrum analyzers or similar equipment.
Strong documentation communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
Experience in aerospace airborne automotive medical device or industrial equipment environments.
Experience with PCB layout or close collaboration with PCB layout engineers.
Experience with signal integrity or power integrity.
Experience with tools such as Altium Designer LTspice PSpice Ansys HyperLynx or equivalent.
Knowledge of DFM / DFA / DFT methodologies.
Experience with industrialization supplier follow-up or production support.
Exposure to environmental constraints such as vibration thermal cycling or reliability testing.
Fluent English is mandatory.
French is a plus.
