SAP Project Manager – S4HANA Release Upgrade

An international company active across multiple countries is looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead an S/4HANA release upgrade project based in the Zurich area (50% on site).

You will take overall ownership of the project leading a cross-functional project team and working directly with the steering committee and stakeholders across several departments and countries.

This position is open to freelance also.

Key responsibilities:

• Overall project management of the SAP S/4 upgrade project
  
• Plan and monitor the project prepare steering committee materials
  
• Align with other projects and departments to clarify dependencies
  
• Communicate with stakeholders
  
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (project plans status reports decision logs risk registers steering committee materials)
  

• 10 years of SAP experience including a proven track record managing SAP S/4HANA release upgrade projects
  
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams manage stakeholders and deliver within scope time and budget
  
• Solid technical understanding of upgrade-related concepts (client concept freeze periods dependencies with other projects and systems)
  
• Experience with large-scale multi-business-unit multi-country landscapes is an advantage
  
• Excellent communication skills; the project runs in English German is a strong plus
