Working alongside talented scientific teams youll help generate high-quality data influence project decisions and contribute directly to the discovery and development of medicines that may redefine patient care.
Job Description
- Design coordinate and execute complex in vivo immunology studies supporting discovery and translational research objectives.
- Conduct rodent disease and mechanistic pharmacology studies while ensuring high-quality experimental execution.
- Perform ex vivo immunological analyses including flow cytometry cytokine profiling and biomarker assessment.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to generate actionable scientific insights and project recommendations.
- Optimize existing methods and contribute to the development of innovative research approaches and assays.
- Maintain accurate study documentation experimental records and scientific presentations aligned with compliance standards.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary project teams to advance immunology programs and support key decision-making.
- Bachelors degree Masters degree or laboratory technician qualification in a relevant life sciences discipline.
- Minimum five years of hands-on immunology research experience in an academic or industry environment.
- Strong expertise conducting rodent in vivo studies including disease models and mechanistic pharmacology studies.
- Proven experience with cellular immunology techniques flow cytometry cytokine profiling and biomarker analysis.
- Ability to independently design execute analyze and interpret complex scientific experiments.
- Excellent scientific communication organizational skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional research teams.
- Experience working with human peripheral blood mononuclear cells and humanized mouse models.
- Experience supporting assay development optimization and implementation of novel immunological techniques.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role:
- Switzerland: 65870.00 - 122330.00 CHF Annual
The salary offered isdeterminedbased on gender-neutralobjectives such as relevant skillscompetenciesand experiencein accordance withthe Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
