Job Summary
As a Requirements & Validation Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring that complex mission-critical communication surveillance and navigation systems meet operational technical regulatory and quality expectations.
You will be responsible for managing requirements throughout the system lifecycle while defining and executing verification and validation activities that demonstrate compliance and fitness for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture analyze document and maintain system requirements while ensuring full traceability throughout the lifecycle
- Translate regulatory operational and stakeholder needs into clear measurable and testable requirements
- Define verification and validation approaches including test strategies test plans and acceptance criteria
- Maintain traceability between requirements test scenarios execution results and supporting evidence
- Plan coordinate and execute laboratory integration and operational testing activities
- Perform regression testing following software releases upgrades and system modifications
- Produce validation reports compliance documentation traceability records and audit-ready evidence
- Collaborate with operations engineering quality safety and external partners to ensure successful project delivery
- Contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives and provide guidance to colleagues on requirements and testing best practices
Qualifications :
Your Profile
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Systems Engineering Telecommunications Electronics Computer Science Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in requirements engineering verification & validation systems integration or testing within a regulated or safety-critical environment
- Practical experience with requirements and test management tools (e.g. Polarion or equivalent platforms)
- Good understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to critical infrastructure systems
- Familiarity with communication navigation or surveillance technologies is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and documentation quality
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Professional working proficiency in English; additional knowledge of French and/or German is an advantage
