Manager, TechOps Finance

As a member of the Finance team the Finance Business Partner supports TechOps by providing financial insights analysis and decision support to enable effective operational and strategic decision-making.

The role partners with TechOps leadership to drive financial planning performance management and value delivery ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support business objectives.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Provide forward looking financial insights and recommendations to TechOps leadership supporting and influencing decision-making on performance risks and priorities.

• Lead financial analysis to address complex financial and operational challenges translating cross-functional insights into actionable business recommendations .Support business cases project evaluation and cost/value optimization navigating ambiguous scenarios with multiple drivers and incomplete data to drive performance and resource allocation. Deliver high-quality financial materials and partner with stakeholders to drive performance steering and accountability.

• Drive planning cycles (budget forecast outlook) ensuring alignment with operational priorities and financial targets.

• Perform financial modeling variance analysis and challenge assumptions to improve forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities.

• Support medium- and long-term strategic planning.

Performance & KPI Analysis

• Monitor key financial and operational KPIs providing clear performance insights to support decision-making.

• Develop concise insight-driven dashboards and reporting focused on business relevance and usability.

• Ensure data integrity and consistent financial reporting supporting continuous improvement and standardization.

• Partner effectively with TechOps FP&A and Finance teams to drive alignment communication and execution of key initiatives.

• Lead financial workflows or projects with TechOps;

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

Education

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or other Business related discipline

• CPA/CA or MBA a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in various finance roles including business partnering financial planning reporting accounting operations or related fields including experience in the biopharmaceutical or manufacturing sector

• Experience with using dashboarding and visualization software (e.g. PowerBi) is preferable

• Experience supporting manufacturing operations or project-based functions preferably within the pharmaceutical biotechnology or life sciences industry.
