M&A & Corporate Finance Partner – Zurich

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is an established independent Swiss Corporate Finance advisory firm with a strong track record in mid-market M&A.

The firm has been active in the Swiss market for more than two decades advising entrepreneurs shareholders companies and investors on acquisitions disposals succession situations and other strategic transactions. Alongside its strong domestic presence the firm provides access to an international M&A network for cross-border transactions.

This is an opportunity for an experienced M&A professional to join an entrepreneurial Partner-led environment combining the independence of a boutique with an established transaction platform and experienced execution capabilities.

For someone who has already developed their own client relationships and market presence the opportunity offers a platform to further grow their franchise while remaining directly involved in originating and leading transactions

THE ROLE

The firm would be interested in meeting an established M&A professional who can contribute both commercially and transactionally to its continued development in Zurich.

The Partner will develop and manage their own client relationships originate new mandates and lead transactions through the full deal lifecycle.

This is not a highly structured corporate environment. The role is suited to someone who enjoys autonomy takes ownership of their business and is comfortable combining advisory work with business development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Originate new M&A and Corporate Finance mandates through an established professional network.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with entrepreneurs shareholders investors and corporate decision-makers.

Lead transactions from initial client discussions and mandate origination through negotiation and completion.

Advise clients on acquisitions disposals and other strategic Corporate Finance situations.

Work closely with the firms wider team and international network on Swiss and cross-border transactions.

Contribute to the continued development of the firms presence in the Swiss-German market

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Significant experience in M&A / Corporate Finance.

Strong existing network and client relationships within Switzerland.

Proven track record of originating mandates and generating approximately CHF 400500k in annual fees from own client relationships.

Strong transaction execution experience.

Entrepreneurial and commercially driven approach.

Comfortable operating within an independent Partner-led advisory environment.

Swiss German mother tongue

Strong connection to the Zurich and wider Swiss-German market
